Join VegFund’s Leslie Barcus at the Reducetarian Summit (Sept. 27–29, 2019)
The third annual Reducetarian Summit takes place in Washington, D.C., September 27–29, 2019, at The Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel. The goal of the conference is to explore strategies and tactics for reducing societal consumption of animal products and ending factory farming.
This Reducetarian Summit attracts more than 500 participants, including tech entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, journalists, environmentalists, CEOs, animal advocates, nutritionists, effective altruists, academics, students, and nonprofit executives to engage with nearly 100 speakers, panelists, and exhibitors. Jonathan Safran Foer, author of the forthcoming book, We Are the Weather: Saving the Planet Begins at Breakfast, will deliver the keynote presentation.
VegFund executive director, Leslie Barcus, will be participating in a panel discussion titled “Philanthropic Giving: How to Strategically Support Non-Profit Organizations,” along with Stacey Barsema of the Barsema Family Foundation and Chuck Laue of the The Quinn Foundation. The panel will take place Saturday, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
