Plant-Based for Athletes is a three- day, educational experience where athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike will learn the positive health benefits of adopting a plant-based diet. Students will also experience hands-on cooking classes using produce purchased during guided trips to the grocery store and/or “nature walks” at the farmer’s market. Students immersed in this program are provided the tools to adopt a plant-based diet that is health supporting, nutritionally adequate, satisfying, inexpensive, and easy to prepare.
