This event will take place in downtown Portland, OR at Director Park. We also found out that there is a giant flower festival this weekend where they expect thousands of people to be downtown. We hope to have at least 200 attendees, and then hundreds of passersby. We will be in the plaza from about 12 pm to 5 pm. National Animal Rights Day – Phoenix

The event begins with a Memorial Ceremony on behalf of the billions of animals killed at the hands of humans and volunteers holding signs in unison. There will be vegan speakers and the signing of The Declaration of Animal Rights. There will be a Celebration afterwards for the animals in our lives and raising awareness of the steps to take to reduce animal suffering. I will have vegan food available for the Celebration and educational literature as well.
