Grantees in Action! National Animal Rights Day Events
National Animal Rights Day (NARD) was established in 2011 by the nonprofit Our Planet to help give voice to animals and raise awareness of animal rights. Official NARD events are held in major cities around the world, which traditionally begin with a memorial ceremony for the billions of animals who die each year by human hands, followed by a reading and signing of The Declaration of Animal Rights, and ending with a celebration for the animals in our lives.
Many VegFund grantees are also holding outreach events on this important day. Browse our grantees’ NARD events, and, if one is near you, stop by and show your support! Details on these and other grantee events can be found in the VegFund Events Calendar.
