Journée Mondiale pour la Fin de la Pêche (JMFP), or World Day for the End of Fishing, is an opportunity to understand the horrors and repercussions of fishing around the world. This is a day where we are asking everyone to realize the magnitude of the ecological impacts and suffering that fishing creates. The groups that host the JMFP ask from their governments and their populations to end fishing, respect the individuality and the right to life of fish and other aquatic animals that are victims of fishing.
