8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
The Hermine Cinema of Plélan-le-Grand welcomes us for the broadcast of the documentary The Last Pig.
This documentary tells the story of an American pig breeder. You will not see an image of pigs piled up or tortured here — rather, pigs live peacefully in the meadows. The breeder cares for them, but after 10 years of activity and having raised more than 2000 pigs in these conditions, he finds he can no longer send them to the slaughterhouse. This documentary tells the story of the last pig destined for this sad end and questions the fate that we reserve for the animals we consume.
A discussion will follow the screening on the place of animals in our society.
