The Animal Rights Coalition will visit Anoka Ramsey Community College with virtual reality headsets that show how animals raised for food under cruel standard farming practices end up in neatly wrapped packages at the grocery stores. Viewers can choose to watch from the eyes of a chicken, a pig, or a cow exploited for her milk. Students will receive $1 to watch a video and have a conversation with an ARC staff member or volunteer about what they witnessed. We will also offer students a “Guide to Animal-Free Eating” and provide a variety of other free information about animal agriculture, plant-based nutrition, and social justice issues.
