We will be handing out vegan nuggets for non-vegan students to sample before they make their way inside Chick-fil-A. We will tell them after they try the sample that it is 100% plant-based and engage them in a conversation about the ethics of eating chickens as well as the environmental impact. It is especially relevant to University of Maryland because Maryland is home to the Chesapeake Bay, the largest estuary in the United States, which is impacted by pollution from chicken farms.
