A whole food, plant-based diet can help prevent and treat diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other chronic diseases. This curriculum is based on the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine’s successful 21-day Vegan Kickstart program. Come discover the world of health by making a qualitative shift in the way we eat as opposed to a quantitative shift. Results are likely to be immediate and impressive. Each class is full of evidence-based information, a video, resources, recipes, discussion, cooking demonstrations, Q&A, and a supportive Facebook community. The sixth week will be a live outdoor gathering at Casa de Luz in Austin, TX and includes your meal. If you are more comfortable taking the food home, that is an option too. If you are not in Austin, the series is still well worth the price.
