2 September 2018 through 20 June 2019
Our humane education program was founded 14 years ago. We conduct lectures in middle and high schools, youth movements, community centers, etc. In these lectures, we encourage participants to view animals as sentient beings, whose physical and emotional needs must be considered, and not only as tools for human beings.
The format for lectures is adaptable to the children’s age and other characteristics. The lectures discuss cruelty to animals in farm factories and practical ways of avoiding it. Our program reaches and affects an average of 20,000 participants each year. The lectures are held throughout the school year and are free of charge. We reach children and youth from across Israeli society.
Lecture series can be adjusted according to specific fields of interest. The lectures receive excellent feedback both from schools and students: 84% of schools say they would invite Anonymous for more activities in the future, and 93% say that they will recommend the lecture for colleagues. As part of the project, we hold special Animal Rights Weeks. We create a custom program for each schools, together with the schools’ staff. During this week, each teacher dedicates a lesson to talk about animals in conjunction with the topic of their class. We also bring celebrities to schools as guest lecturers, who talk about their relation to animal rights and what they do to promote a better world for animals. We encourage students to hold special activities during breaks, like meat-outs and advocacy stands, and provide them with support.
Lectures can be scheduled from 2 September 2018 through 20 June 2019.
