Poor diet and lack of exercise put today’s children at greater risk for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer later in life. A foundation for healthy eating is needed to lessen the risk for chronic diseases. The curriculum highlights the positives of the four food groups in the Power Plate. Kids will learn about nutrition and how to cook healthy recipes. All supplies are included. A consent form is required. For ages 6 to 12. Instructor: Sapna Von Reich. Kids can enroll in all 4 classes ($75) or individual classes ($21 each).
