Is weight loss one of your goals for the new year? Does heart disease run in your family? Have you been told that you have high cholesterol or blood pressure? Research shows that a plant-based diet can help you manage and even reverse heart disease and diabetes, lose weight, and maintain your weight after that loss. Do you want to stop restricting how much you eat by changing what you eat?
In this series you will learn steps you can take now to lose weight and reduce your risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Attendees will learn the benefits of a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle and its surprising effects on our health and longevity.
Each class incudes:
- Current research on how a plant-based diet treats and even reverses heart disease
- How your diet can help you reach your weight loss goals
- How you can eat more food and lose weight
- Resources and new recipes to get you started
Each class also includes live cooking demonstrations, handouts, and Q&A — all in a supportive, online group setting. Classes are $10 each or $65 for the 7-class series.
