This class series is offered to support National Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Colon cancer is a leading cause of death and disability in the U.S. and there is so much we can do to prevent this disease. We will dive into the research that shows that most gut health issues begin with the fork. We will discuss the importance of a healthy weight, how to benefit from a high-fiber diet, and what that looks like. We will discuss natural appetite control, a cancer-fighting diet, and overall good digestive health. We will also be discussing common gastrointestinal issues such as IBS, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn’s Disease and how a whole-food, plant-based lifestyle can benefit those who suffer from these conditions.
