Film Screening: What the Health
July 21, 2018
Event Navigation
A free screening of What the Health will take place on Saturday, July 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Legler Public Library and The Vegetarian Museum.
What the Health is a documentary that uncovers the collusion between big business and government to keep Americans sick instead of promoting healthy lifestyle choices that would save the people billions of dollars and lead to long, healthy lives. From the creators of the award-winning documentary Cowspiracy, this film is educational, entertaining and will leave you wondering why you were never given this information before!
The event begins with a tour of the museum exhibit and will move to a meeting room for check-in and snacks and to watch the documentary as it uncovers the secret to preventing, and even reversing, chronic diseases. Following the screening, Carmelita Banks will lead us in a discussion. Carmelita is a retired educator, holding various adjunct faculty positions. She is also a former writer and editor for several publications.
