A unique and nationwide day of action organised by Animal Justice Project to raise awareness about the killing of calves in the dairy industry. It follows their undercover investigation revealing tiny baby male calves being collected from dairy farms around the country by a livestock dealer and taken to slaughter. The UK industry claims no male calves are shot on farm any more, but thousands still go into the slaughterhouse. Around 30 animal rights groups will join together to carry out outreach events in their local towns, handing out literature and vegan cheese, milks, and chocolate. Thousands are expected to see the posters, banners, and literature on the streets, or via social media and the media.
