Do one thing more in 2019
With VegFund's support!

Besides the actions you take every day — your food choices, the clothing you wear, the care and respect you show your animal friends, your everyday activism — make a New Year’s resolution to take one action more for the animals and the planet in 2019. Large or small.
I’m new to this — how do I get started?
If you’re new to activism — or maybe you’ve volunteered but never organized an event — get your toes wet with a simple food-sampling event. Most of our grantees find it easiest to book a stall or table at an existing community event. Plan and prepare your food items, choose supporting educational literature, and turn up on the day with some volunteer support. Your college campus, church, workplace, or local community event (green fairs, farmer’s markets, etc.) are all great locations to test the waters. Learn more about food sampling, and apply for grant support from VegFund.
I want to try something new. What do you recommend?
You’ve held food-sampling events or perhaps paid-per-view (PPV), and you’re looking to try something new. Consider hosting a community film screening. Films are powerful tools for social change, and there are many excellent options to choose from. Recent releases of interest include The Last Pig, What the Health, The End of Meat, Love & Bananas, and Kangaroo. Whether you’re looking to engage people on the topics of animal rights, the environment, or nutrition and health, you’re sure to find something suitable. If you’re already experienced with film screenings, add another to your roster for 2019. Check out VegFund’s top recommended documentaries for film-screening events, and, of course, apply for a grant!
I’m going to take my activism to the next level.
Ready to take on a more ambitious project? Consider organizing a learning event, such as developing a webinar, teaching a course, or hosting a speaker. Or perhaps you’re eager to embrace the power of online activism. VegFund’s online campaign support can help you kickstart your digital projects and reach large audiences with your message. Vegan challenges, vegfests, and a world of creative possibilities are all within your reach.
And here’s an easy New Year’s resolution — for everyone!
Help spread the word that VegFund can support these outreach activities by sharing information about our grant programs with your peers and on social media!
